The boring, yet essential stuff
Prices and Payment- The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are in GB pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Postage and packaging will be charged in addition to the cost of the goods unless otherwise stated. We accept payment through Paypal. Upon payment, Paypal will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide on your order details. You will also receive a transaction ID with this confirmation, which will be required for any correspondence. This will create a legally binding contract between us. We are not able to supply customers outside the UK at present.
Returns and Damages-Under distance selling regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 days from the date you received the goods. This does not cover perishable goods. You must advise us before returning any goods. Goods must be returned to us in their original condition and packaging. The Whimsical Kitchen is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during return and you are responsible for the cost of returning the items. We will refund the cost of the goods in full within 30 days of cancellation. We take the utmost care in packaging our products securely and check all items carefully before we send them. If however, your goods are damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and we will be able to discuss with you the options available to resolve the matter.
The Whimsical Kitchen are not responsible for items lost or delayed due to postal/Courier services. Larger parcels will always have tracking details which will be communicated to the buyer. If your parcel is lost in transit please email us. All order queries will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
My order hasn't arrived?
All orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st class. You will receive an email when your order is ready to ship and i'm getting your labels ready.
If in the unlikely event your order hasn't arrived. please drop me an email at Jackie@thewhimsicalkitchen.com and I'll be happy to check the tracking and hunt the rouge parcel down :-)
Unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels by Royal Mail BUT I will always advise on the best action to take.
General Information- The Whimsical Kitchen makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of images, descriptions and measurements; however, due to photographic limitations and different computer screens/settings, variations will occur. The products we sell are hand made, and as such will vary in size, shape and colour and therefore goods received may vary from the photograph shown.
Security- We have taken care to ensure that this website is as secure as possible. Credit and debit card transactions are made through Paypal and Stripe and no details are held by us, and will not be given to or held by any third party.
